For this project I am looking to add a listening center to our classroom. This center gives them the opportunity to read books out of their independent reading range. Reading along with books on CD allows them to hear different expressions, fluency, and words they would not hear reading on their own. A listening center provides a way for students to read along to their favorite stories in an entertaining and exciting way. This helps them build a love for reading at an early age. By sparking this love for reading early, we can help to make lifelong readers and learners!

About my class
