Unfortunately, with budget cuts and other monetary issues, technology is the last thing being added or funded to the classrooms. This is so unfortunate because technology, like iPads should be available to all children. There are hundreds of apps available that would be such a benefit to my students in helping them learn about their world. These iPads would also provide flexible technology-based centers which would incorporate our new language arts program. It would help them become better readers. My students deserve and desperately need every opportunity to explore the world around them through technology that the Apple iPad will allow them to do. I try very hard to provide my students with technology that connects them to the world beyond our classroom. Your help will allow my students to enter into an exciting world of technology. Best of all, the requested iPad will benefit students in my classroom for years to come! Thank you for making it possible for my students to continue to be motivated, inspired, and engaged through technology! The adapters will allow me to plug in the iPad to project the screen for the whole class and school to see.
