The materials I am asking for will help start our after school fitness program as well as provide a few items for recess. The jump ropes will be used for the after school fitness program, while the basketballs and pull-up bar will be used for recess! At the after school fitness program, the students will learn how important fitness is as well as how fun it can be. The students will work with body weight exercises and begin to learn some fundamental olympic lifting techniques. The program will also incorporate a nutrition curriculum designed to teach students how to choose healthy snacks.
