My amazing second graders love to learn. I want to provide many ways to emphasize the lessons and ways for the children to practice the lessons. Apps on the ipads provide a variety of lessons for the children to practice new skills. They can read, practice math, and work on interactive sites such as Nearpod. I can expand their learning with slideshows and using approved apps and websites. My classroom does not have desk top computers. I share lap tops and ipads with the school and I am provided with 2 daily. It would be useful for my class to have permanent ipads for daily use.
