My students need these familiar books to become super readers. These books are used during read alouds and as such, my students have become acquainted with these books. As they do their own independent reading and partner reading, my students are eager to read these books themselves. My students will use these books throughout reading workshop, during private and partner time. As they divulge into reading, they will start by using the pictures, recalling what they remember and ultimately, reading the words. This work will help them as they become fluent readers as their work here will transfer to reading new books. The donations for this project will help improve my classrooms as all children will have the ability to read these books individually, becoming stronger readers and writers. My students are eager to learn how to read. These books will help them become great readers.
