The students will benefit from having iPads to work on different projects. Our district acquired Achieve 3000, an online reading program, but we have to share about 120 iPads and 100 computers among 700+ students. This is taking away learning time. Having at least 5 iPads in my classroom will help my students with their academic goals. They will have more time to use this and other academic programs to continue working on their goals and at their ability level. For example, students will be able to use their iPads to create IMovie's and present to the class about a given topic, which we have done, but it takes more time since we are sharing among the school.
