For the past two years, I have been personally funding my efforts to turn my classroom to a flexible seating set up to reach all learners - and it has WORKED! Now I just need help to finish it! It is truly amazing what a little movement can do to aid in concentration. I truly appreciate any efforts in funding this project! I've been happy to purchase all items for my class up to this point, my teacher pockets just seem to be a bit to empty for this one. Thank you very much! Every child deserves a chance to receive the best education, and for many, just being able to move a little while learning can open up huge windows in being able to concentrate harder and longer with the effect of learning at a higher level. These stools are proven to do just that. A little wobble can go along way! I have seen frustrated students go from anger and tears to smiling faces and less behavior issues when just being able to channel the extra energy into this one movement. This will not just benefit a class of 24, but rather countless students years to come. Also, as other teachers in the building come across students who seem to have trouble concentrating, I will be the first one to offer the use of these. Our school is a community who believes in working together to serve all students, not just the ones in our class.
