Art is truly a universal language that we all speak no matter our age or abilities. These materials will allow me to start the year as a new art teacher with a bang! Students will enjoy creating self-portraits, creating nature and seascapes, mold statues, making collages, exploring colors, and interacting with various art materials in order for them get in tune with their inner artist! My students with special needs deserve to have the best materials in order to make projects that they will love creating and that show off their creativity. Using a variety of materials to accommodate their sensory needs is paramount in order to have students be successful without the typical limitations in art class!
