My students love to move. Our classroom has round tables with chairs that are all the same size. I want to provide my students with seating options, such as wobble stools and cushions, so that if they need to move around to help them focus and stay engaged, that option is available. It is also difficult for my students to sit and read a book in English, so I would like to provide bean bag chairs to help my students get excited about reading. It is important that my students associate comfort and ownership with their learning in our classroom. I want to incorporate these flexible seating options so that they are given different choices in our classroom.
