As a teacher in a low-income community, some of my students are faced with different challenges in and out of the classroom. My goal as a third-grade teacher is to make sure my students know that learning is FUN! My class enjoys exploring new concepts and creating projects to demonstrate their learning. Since my school is in a rural, low-income area, I am always looking for ways to connect my students to the world around them. Having adequate technology, supplies to support that technology and resources to support our learning is key in making those connections! I am hoping with your support that my class will be able to make more connections with the world around them and enjoy hands-on learning!
