Many of my students come to school without the basic necessities for education, including pencils, and I want to level the playing field for them all while also providing an inviting and safe environment in which they can learn. Although Biology can seem sterile and aseptic, I believe that through strong instruction and provision of simple supplies, their education will be enhanced, preparing them well for whatever future they choose to pursue. With the purchase of these gifts, I will be able to maintain a clean and welcoming classroom and lab, transforming my students' experience with the sciences to truly be that -- focused on the sciences.

About my class
