I teach fifth grade students with four other fifth grade teachers. I work in a Title 1 school which serves approximately 700 students from Pre-K through Fifth Grade. The five of us teach math, ELA, Social Studies and Science. Our classes are grouped homogeneously by RIT scores from the NWEA MAP testing program. Our school has over 70% of the student body being served on Free and Reduced lunch. This year is my 29th year teaching at this school. My students give me their best and I in turn, try to give them my very best.
