My students have access to some books and resources. Unfortunately, funds in my district are not always as accessible as they are in other schools in my city. Because my students are new to schooling, the need for them to feel successful and happy is great! I don't want to discourage my students before they even begin to learn to read. My project was carefully chosen to best suit the needs of the kids in my classroom, to help them shine when I know they can. I am trying my hardest to prove to the world that they are just as capable, if not more, than students in any other district!
