The lap desks will allow the students a different style of seating during their learning opportunities, whether it be at the carpet or in another area of the classroom in place of their stationery desk. The desks will also allow for small group instruction to occur on the carpet with an effective writing surface to implement proper handwriting skills, as well as when reading a book. The lap desk will allow the “movers and shakers” the space they need without disturbing others as well as those needing more teacher assistance closer proximity to enhance his or her learning. These tools will be an asset to the young learners.
