Hello friends! Here at NSJ we are getting kids ready for kindergarten in our High Five classroom. We are a full day program that serves students who are 4 and turning 5 before the next school year. Our school is located in north Minneapolis and approximately 97% of our school population qualifies for free and reduced lunch. In our classroom our goal is to engage students in meaningful learning that will help them better understand themselves and the world around them. We have a strong focus on literacy, math and social skills. I personally love this age and really feel that a child's first school experience is such an important time! It sets the tone for the rest of their educational career and anything that I can do to make it a positive experience I will do!! Thanks for your support and helping me instill a love of learning in my students!
