My students will use these STEM and engineering resources to immerse themselves in the engineering process and support our Engineering is Elementary unit on bridges. The continued interaction with these materials will help them gain the confidence to try out new ideas and excel in not only academic areas but cooperatively collaborate with their peers. Hands-on structured engineering kits and additional exploratory STEM materials are vital to supporting all of my diverse learners to reach their potential. These materials are not only fun and engaging for young learners but they also help them develop a growth mindset as they try, fail and try again to make their ideas become reality.
