With donations received through this project, students will be given the chance to work with a new form of technology. Given that my students are in a Title 1 school, the presence of technology is limited, and oftentimes, only used for whole class instruction. The use of the Samsung Kids Galaxy Tab will allow my students to have the necessary skills to succeed beyond the classroom. Now, students will be able to have more opportunities for hands on learning, in a more engaging way. Students will be able to access a variety of applications on the tablets, expanding their knowledge in math and literacy. These applications focus on students listening to the sounds of letters, and hands on approach to writing numbers and letters. This learning style allows students to practice their learning beyond the pencil to paper approach.
