Having this Chromebook would bring the ratio of technology to students in my class from 1:13 down to 1:8. Students will have increased access to use the Chromebooks during research projects, writing projects, and to visit a variety of websites. These sites provide them engaging opportunities to enhance the following skills: typing, math facts, reading, spelling, and math. Our students are growing up in a technology focused world, having this Chromebook will provide them opportunities to develop 21st Century skills needed for their future. My students will also be able to use the Chromebook to create alternative demonstrations of their learning rather than only pencil and paper assessment activities.
