Reading is an integral part of my classroom. I have a personal classroom library with 1500 books on the shelves. I make these books available to every student in our school, not just the ones I am currently teaching. I believe if we can instill a love of reading in students there is no limit to how far they can go in school as well as in life. My current students, all freshmen, have the freedom to choose books they truly want to read for our book clubs. It is exciting to hear them discussing their latest chapter with true enthusiasm.
