Several of our friends have had a hard life and have lived through some very troubling times. With the many exhibited behaviors of aggression and anger, we work diligently on helping children learn how to self-regulate and calm down before the behavior escalates. This "Zen Zone" will enable students to have a peaceful area to go to when they need a minute to self-reflect or just relax. That’s why I’m asking for the large pillows, canopies, lap desk and stress relief materials. Sometimes it helps to have a focal point when de-stressing. Elementary school can sometimes be hard; these tools will be an amazing resource to help guide them through their tough times
