My students come to school eager to learn every day. These books will give them a opportunity to explore real creatures. They will help us to enrich our literature in our classroom with more of a variety of books. They will also help emergent reading skills by letting the students picture read the books. The books will also provide important information and facts. These books will give students choices to choose from. They may have a favorite animal or may have seen an animal on TV that they are interested in learning about. These books will give the students a deeper understanding of the creatures in our world. It will help them to see and learn about animals they have never seen before. They will also increase vocabulary. I will read these books to students and emphasize new words. I love sharing new information with my class and introducing them to new experiences. Books in the classroom help to build a literacy-rich environment, and that is what I want to do.
