Osmo enables the iPad to merge the power of physical play with the digital advantages of real-time feedback.By having Osmo in my classroom students will be able to have hands on learning while still using technology. Osmo uses shapes, numbers, and letter pieces that children physically manipulate. This allows students to play beyond the screen, learn beyond the screen, and create beyond the screen Playing beyond the screen invites students to collaborate on tables or floors while manipulating tangible game pieces such as number tiles, letter tiles, and coding blocks. We’re creating an environment for children where the line between fun and learning is blurred. Students will use Osmo during both reading and math center rotations.
