I know how I feel after sitting for hours while working and listening. I want to provide an environment that my students will be comfortable in and therefore increase their attention. In previous years, I have had students asking to stand or move because they will be able to focus better. I have been able to provide a few options this year in my classroom like stability balls and floor seats, but this does not cover every student in my classroom. Every student is comfortable working in different ways so I want to be able to provide that option for my students to best optimize their learning. I would like to use the wobble stools and wiggle seats for an alternative seating option all day or for those special needs students that need to be able to wiggle while working therefore increasing attention span.
