One of my main goals as a teacher is to develop a love of reading in each one of my students. I struggled with reading as a child and grew up not wanting to read or even caring to see what books had to offer. As a teacher, my view on reading has taken a 360-degree turn. I love to uncover the magic behind each book and I hope that my students will grow to do the same. We would love to have the Magic Tree House series in our classroom. I think Mary Pope Osborne does a fantastic job of creating wonderful, creative, capturing stories that will hook my students and leave them wanting more. I would love to read these books to my kiddos so I can continually hear, "Can you read one more chapter, please?"
