Our students are using computers to record their work. In our classroom with 31 students, I have one working headphone with microphone. Students have to wait their turn to use the headset with microphones. By funding my project, each students will be able to use their very own headset. This will also be sanitary as well. Also, for my at-risk students, the microphone piece will help them write essays by speaking into the microphone and having the computer write their sentences. The microphone will allow students to speak softly and yet get a good recording without all the background noise.
