The microscopes and slides will make a great impact on the education of my students. Many of the students have never seen a microscope up close, nor have they had the opportunity to look through one. Being able to use a microscope will introduce them to the world of science and show them that their are many ways to use science in everyday life. The lessons for the upcoming weeks are on the Cell Theory. I want my students to have the hands on experience of viewing cell samples through a microscope. Many students are visual/hands on learners who would benefit from this experience. After reviewing the upcoming lessons students are excited to get the opportunity to actually use a microscope.
