Technology is sparse in my school district and sharing one computer cart between 5 classrooms just isn't going to cut it anymore. These 6 Chrome Books will be used every day in my classroom in station format. I have 24 students and will have 4 stations -differentiated by levels- going at the same time. This allows me to have a teacher led station to support learning, but will also give my students time to work at their own pace. Our new ELA curriculum requires students to have access to technology to read books and engage in interactive learning activities. I don't want my students to be without and continue widening the achievement gap.
