I am organizing a trip to the California Academy of Sciences so my students can learn more about the world and apply their prior knowledge to real-life situations. This museum creates a perfect environment to practice inquisitive thinking outside the classroom. I am particularly excited for the students to explore the Academy's living roof and learn more about sustainable building. In addition, this will be the first opportunity for some of these students to see animals from different regions around the world. The Steinhart Aquarium and Osher Rainforest dome will help the students better understand the diversity of biomes.
