Flexible seating allows my students to become more responsible for their learning by giving them the ability to choose and understand how they learn best. Understanding how you learn best is a skill that will be useful to them throughout their life as they move on to high school, college, and the workforce. By giving my students the option of flexible seating I am giving them the power to make a choice about their learning. When students are given a choice about their learning, suddenly what they learn becomes more meaningful. Flexible seating is a powerful tool in the classroom to set my students up for success in the future.
