My classroom is filled with the most fun and loving 2nd grade students. I am new to 2nd grade and to the district I am teaching in, but I have already experienced such a warm and welcoming beginning. Some of these students come from low income families, some struggle with academics or with social/emotional well-being, but regardless of their background, they come to school to work hard and to learn. My students are genuinely enthusiastic about learning and about being at school. In order to continue to foster this enthusiasm, I need to create an exciting and inviting environment for them. In addition, I need to provide them with engaging activities so that they can continue to learn and have a love for school. I work very hard to ensure that my students are loved and taken care of at school, and by creating projects like these, I can do just that. Teaching is a true passion of mine, and I hope to share that passion!
