We need Servo Motor,Servo Controller, Servo Extension Lead to spin the cube. 12 MP Webcam with 6 LEDs to take the cube's picture and some flat-head bolt and nuts to join all parts. These resources will enable my students to build a small robot that can solve a Rubik's cube by scanning its faces, determine a sequence of moves to solve it, and rotate the faces accordingly. Our motivation for this project is that we believe we can donate a Rubik's-cube solving robot to our Gifted/Talented students group. This project demonstrates how a simple and cost-efficient robot can be built to solve 3D problems in the real world. By combining robotics and vision complex problems can be solved without the need for human interaction. These types of robots could be used for a wide range of applications such as medical examinations or rescue services. We'll use the Servo motor, servo extensions, Raspberry Pi 3 and USB servo controller to rotate four arms, also we'll use some bolts, nuts to join components and webcam to take Rubik's cube pictures.
