I use technology daily in my classroom during my small group time. The computer programs on the Chromebooks help by allowing the students more practice in all subject areas that I teach, math, reading, vocabulary, science and social studies. By using Chromebooks, during small groups I am able to meet all levels of my students needs. For example, my higher level learners are able to challenge themselves more by using the internet to search different subjects to do reports and make slides for power point presentations. The programs that I use are also able to be accessed at home. My students will be so much more successful in the classroom because they are able to continue practicing the concept they learn at school when they get home. The parents will be more engaged with their child's learning because able to monitor the students' growth and see how they are progressing and what areas they will need more help with. By allowing the parents access to help their children's individualized learning, they will become more engaged and help make their children more successful.
