I know my students learn in a different way and pace, but they won't stand alone in this journey. Nothing is unattainable if we help them to set their goals high. As a dyslexia teacher, I am able to pull students in small groups and focus on targeted objectives. A lot of the books that we have are outdated and are not relevant to my readers. Having my own personal library will allow the students to pick up books while they are in my class and allow them to read books and magazines that they will be able to relate to. Since most of my students are dyslexic. Materials that are hard to break and the different types of writing textures will provide my students with practice opportunities for handwriting and connect letters, also improve fluency and written composition. With these materials, they will explore kinesthetic learning with letter formation, tracing and practicing handwriting.
