My kindergarten class is an amazing group of diverse learners. I work with students from many different cultural backgrounds, with some students speaking up to 3 languages. I also teach students with disabilities who need additional resources and support. My goal as their teacher is to differentiate my instruction to meet their needs, whether I am teaching math or social skills. Everyday I work to build a classroom community where all students are respected, encouraged, and included. Kindergarten is a crucial year in a child's academic and social/emotional development, and I strive to be the best teacher for each of my students. There is no other job I could imagine doing. I am grateful to DonorsChoose for connecting me to so many wonderful people and organizations who want to help my classroom succeed this year and every year.
