My students love to read and are curious about the world around them! They have their own book boxes that they use to select a collection of books to read in their free reading TIME each week. Nonfiction books are especially appealing. Students love learning facts about animals, planets, and the human body. They enjoy finding places in the atlas and learning about the unique features of each place. The Time for Kid magazine subscriptions will give them another venue to not only practice their reading and comprehension skills, but broaden their knowledge base about the world we live in. I'm excited to see their enthusiasm to read and learn as they receive each new edition!
