The journalism class and the school-wide morning show is a truly student-centered project that gives students a hands-on skill set to practice and perfect every day in the journalism class. My students will get to use the lessons in the Journalism I class to critically examine their lives and write their stories. We were only left with one camera and very little funds to purchase additional equipment. We need the equipment (a wireless microphone system, camcorder, and digital cameras) to make the program come alive, but we'll also use it to capture the bright spots in our middle school journey for our yearbook. We want it to the be the best and for that we need the best!
