Our school is located in one of the most economically disadvantaged and crime filled neighborhoods of our city. 90% of the school is classified as low income. Despite these hurdles, when these students walk through the door their excitement and eagerness to learn melts my heart. I want to continue to foster their love for learning and I want to be able to provide basic necessities so we can have an organized day of non-stop learning.
