Bienvenidos a mi clase de espanol! My students enter class each day excited to immerse themselves in the Spanish language and culture. "Are we singing a song today, Sra. Vargas? Can we please sing "Los Numeros" again?" They pass by colorful flags, posters in Spanish, and vivid images from Paraguay, Guatemala, Costa Rica, and myriad other Spanish-speaking countries as they make their way to their seats. The bell rings, and it's time for espanol! I am energized each day by my students' enthusiasm and motivation to not only learn a foreign language, but actively strive to become culturally aware global citizens.
