My classroom library is a place that my students really enjoy and providing Science rich material will help enhance their growing desire to learn. Building their background knowledge with books that they can read in leisure or as a content supplement with help them inside and outside of the classroom. My kiddos have enjoyed learning about the atoms and molecules as well as, creating different projects where they exhibit their knowledge of Plate Tectonics and different types of Energy. We are learning about Chemistry, Physical Science, Earth Science and Biology within the 7th grade. I've chosen material that are easy reads but also provide core content support information on the what we've learned in class. For example , the "Lightening Bolt Books" are great because they tackle many of the subjects that we cover in 7th grade. Also, "El mundo de Tecnologia" in Spanish will be a super help to our kiddos that are better readers in Spanish but still learning English in class.
