I have a eager group of boys and girls that love learning about math. However, they do not have anywhere to sit because of the flooding our school encountered during Hurricane Harvey. Hurricane Harvey flooded the school and all of our school furniture was destroyed. We have no where to sit and work. My classes are currently being held at the high school and we are able to utilize their furniture. Our district is getting portable buildings for us to move into and use however, we will not have desk, chairs, whiteboards.....all the essential things a classroom needs for students to thrive. I would love for them to have the tools they need to help them learn and be comfortable at their school! Many of my students don't have furniture at home either. Both their schools and homes are not functioning well. Please consider helping my eager students and give them an environment that is conducive to learning. Thanks!!!!!!
