These materials will be used throughout the year on various projects that correspond with our topics for 7th grade social studies. We will be using these supplies to learn about various ancient civilizations and their achievements in technology. By creating their own interpretation of ancient technology, their thirst for knowledge will continue to grow. By creating hands on activities that encourage collaboration and personal interpretation, my 7th graders will be able to bring their learning of ancient civilizations to life. They will create cuneiform tablets and use the language of Mesopotamia, they will work as teams to create a new form of irrigation just like the civilizations of Ancient India, and they will challenge each other to construct portions of the Great Wall of China.

About my class
