We are requesting a color coded set of stop watches to aid in the management of teams and squads that have been assigned a color in physical education classes and to use on special event days such as track day and the Tough Tiger Run. We are also requesting a set of books written by Lynn Hefele which incorporate reading and physical education activities. I will read the books as an introduction to the unit which will help to reinforce movement concept. The activities and lessons that accompany the book help to incorporate the motor skills that will be taught during the unit. The books provide the students with another connection between the core classes and physical education.
