Chromebooks in our classroom will allow for students to have a different learning experience in Humanities, which focuses on writing infused with English Language Arts and Social Studies. Having the Chromebooks at such a close reach, will give my students the opportunity to use them throughout the Humanities block. Since a large amount of my students are English Language Learners, they will be able to use the Chromebooks to look up any unknown vocabulary and images to support this vocabulary. We will also be able to use educational applications such as Google Classroom to further enhance their writing and editing skills. They will also be able to collaborate with other students and practice their group-work skills. The laptop cart will ensure that all technology items are kept safe and charging whenever they are not in use. My project will make a difference in my students' educational experience and further instill a love for learning in a new technological era.
