We're using a new curriculum this year. It is fantastic, in that it is engaging, interactive, student centered and both social/emotionally and academically appropriate for 3 and 4-year-olds. However, all, quite literally all, of the items that need to be printed out for the learning centers, are in color! I've tried printing some things in black and white, using the school copier, but it just isn't the same. One example is matching the hats to the characters from our story. The hats all look somewhat the same, but are in different colors. This is impossible for a 3 or 4 year old to do, using the slightly different variations of gray offered by a black and white printer.
