Students' goal for each project are to actively engage them in a variety of materials which will promote self-discovery. Projects are designed toward students interests and to expose students to materials they have not used before. Most of the students are non-verbal and will greatly benefit from the experience of the creation process. All my students are very creative and they like to experience new things. Art class is a very important time for the students because it provides them with a tool to express and communicate their feelings and experiences. Students need a variety of art supplies such as paper, paint, and clay. Art class will help students learn the topics in other classes by integrating subjects through art.
