My 5-6 year old students are growing up immersed in technology. In our classroom we write, read together and independently, and explore new ideas and topics on a daily basis. The addition of iPads to our classroom will allow my students the opportunity to learn and use technology to further their learning, their skills, and diversify the way in which they learn. This technology will help me to reach all of my students where they are and through different teaching methods by using these iPads as listening centers, for literacy and math activities, and for classroom research. By using iPads in the classroom for academic growth, my students will learn how to use technology responsibly and safely as well as more independently as they become lifelong learners in an increasingly technological world.

About my class
