Our students are very excited to start working with the iPad, Apple Pencil and the application Procreate. This app is beyond wonderful for working with the preliminary sketching phases of projects & into the final drafts of classroom projects. This app was created for creative professionals and students alike. Procreate has everything you need to create lavish sketches, vivid paintings, illustrations, and detailed animations in a digital format. This program and tool can and will be used on a daily basis as a available art medium in our class. It is not a one lesson plan and done tool, it can be used consistently throughout the year on various lessons. The iPad, Apple pencil and the program Procreate is the complete mobile art studio. Procreate, with all of its amazing features, can run on a iPad partnered with the Apple Pencil. The donation of the iPad and Apple Pencil will eventually save our classroom money in supplies for years to come. Using the new tools will open up the opportunity for my one stop light farm town students to experience the booming digital art field in everyday class.
