The materials and supplies that I am requesting for my students already have a "home." In other words, I know exactly where everything will go. We just need your help in getting everything through our door! Hands-on learning is essential to students gaining a deeper understanding of the material being used. The three-dimensional shapes will allow my students to work hands-on with shapes to find surface area, integer chips will help my students understand the process in working with negative numbers, and the books will allow my students to investigate topics they are unsure about to grow their curiosity in math.
