My students crave exciting and interesting topics to read and research. Often textbooks are outdated and lack current articles that students can relate to their own lives. The students are not excited to read the textbooks. Storyworks magazines provide current, colorful articles. In addition to the articles, they also include curriculum and skills practice to reinforce the students learning. The skill practice gives differentiated instructional levels and covers vocabulary, comprehension, grammar, and writing. These magazines will help capture the students' interest which is a great resource. Getting students excited about what they are learning makes learning the skills much easier.
