Math books for children are an important component in helping students make a connection to what they are learning in school. Pictures and math concepts come alive when they are featured in books. To ask a child to learn math to the deepest of levels without having an opportunity to visually see the math in a picture book is far to often seen in many schools. Children deserve the chance to explore math through a picture book. They deserve to have a teacher read a math book to them during drop everything and read or during free choice. They deserve to have a math book that they can read to a buddy. Every math book deserves to have a child hold it and say I love this book. Thank you for your support in helping our students of all grade levels at our school make math come alive through books!
